Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data SoC.one Inc. (“SoC.one”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to delete it.

The short version

www.soc.one is a static website. It has no user accounts, no login, no shopping cart and no database. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use the site for advertising or cross-site tracking. The only personal data we receive through this website is what you choose to type into one of our forms and send to us.

What we collect

Information you send us

When you submit the contact form or the data deletion request form, we receive the information you enter — typically your name, your email address, and the content of your message. We ask only for what we need in order to reply to you or to act on your request.

Technical information

Our hosting providers (GitHub Pages and GitLab Pages) process standard technical request data such as IP address and browser user-agent in order to serve the site and to protect it from abuse. This is handled by those providers under their own privacy terms; we do not maintain our own web analytics profile of you.

This site also carries an error-monitoring script inherited from the platform the site was originally built on. If a page fails in your browser, that script may transmit technical diagnostic information (such as the error, the page URL and browser details) to the monitoring service. It is used to detect broken pages, not to identify or profile visitors.

How your information is handled

Form submissions are relayed to a monitored internal channel used by the SoC.one team so that a person can read and act on them. Access to that channel is limited to staff who need it. We keep correspondence only for as long as it is needed for the purpose you sent it, or for as long as we are required to keep it.

We do not share your information with third parties except:

Data Deletion Requests

You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. This applies to anything you have previously sent us through this website — for example a message submitted through the contact form, and the email address and name attached to it.

Request deletion of your data

Use the form on our data deletion page. It asks only for your name, your email address, and a short description of what you would like deleted.

Open the Data Deletion Request form →

You may also email your request to info@soc.one with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Either route reaches the same team.

How we handle your request

Every deletion request moves through four stages, and is tracked until it reaches a final state:

StageWhat happensTarget
Received Your request arrives in the monitored channel used by our privacy team and is entered in our deletion register. Acknowledged within 5 business days
Verified We confirm the request genuinely comes from you, normally by replying to the email address you gave us. This protects you from someone else deleting your data. Within 10 business days
Processed We locate the data covered by your request and delete it from the systems we control, or restrict it where we are legally required to retain it. Within 30 days of verification
Completed / Rejected We write to you confirming what was deleted. If we cannot action the request — for example we hold no data matching it, verification failed, or the law requires us to keep it — we tell you that and why. Within 30 days of verification

Please note: because this website is static, the site itself does not store your request or keep a log. The record is created when your request reaches our team, and it is tracked from there through to completion. Requests sent to info@soc.one are retained in that mailbox until the request is closed.

Your other rights

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to object to how we use it, or to receive a copy. Use the same contact routes above and tell us which right you want to exercise.

Children

This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
